The pundit says the Dolphins will winThe NFL MVP race, which hasn’t had a clear winner for most of the season, appears to be largely locked in with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson winning the award at -20,000 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

But ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky isn’t entirely convinced the race is over just yet. On Friday, Orlovsky posted on social media that he thinks Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the fourth most likely man to reach 3,000 wins, could get at least one more game in an elite game against Miami Dolphins.

“If Josh Allen scores four touchdowns Sunday and the Bills win, he’ll have 46 catches for 4,800 yards,” wrote Orlovsky X. “It’ll be an interesting race for voters between him and Lamar.”

The Bills have a huge opportunity to clinch the AFC East crown right under the Dolphins’ noses in the final game of the NFL regular season on Sunday night.

If Allen can make a lasting impression, he could sway some voters.Allen is putting up a strong fight, even if the only chances aren’t enough.

Although he has an edge over Jackson in total yards and touchdowns, the Ravens star has had significantly fewer turnovers this season. Allen threw 16 interceptions (second in the league) and lost three fumbles, while Jackson threw seven interceptions and lost two fumbles. Besides, the Bills haven’t even made the playoffs yet.

If they lose to the Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars win, Buffalo will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2018, Allen’s rookie season.

There is a theoretical possibility that Allen could make the race more interesting with a great performance on Sunday, especially with Jackson rested for the playoffs, but the odds seem too great to pass up.
