The San Francisco 49ers may be the only team in the NFC with a stronger defense at the moment, but the Dallas Cowboys have one of the finest postseason defenses going into the NFL playoffs.

When the Cowboys and Green Bay Packers square off in the first round, one of their main worries is the health of veteran CB Stephon Gilmore, who has somewhat revived his career in Dallas this season.

Since Gilmore missed practice on Wednesday due to a shoulder ailment, his availability for Sunday’s game against the Packers is currently in doubt.

While Gilmore says he is doing well for now, Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reports that he will probably wear a brace on his shoulder in preparation for playing against Green Bay in Dallas on Wild Card Weekend.

With the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year on the field, the Cowboys are undoubtedly a better football club since it will be harder for Jordan Love to have an impact on this game with his receivers.

The Cowboys will have a strong chance of winning this game against the Packers even if Gilmore is unable to go to Dallas for the playoffs. Micah Parsons and the squad are just the superior all-around football club.

Dallas is worried about their offensive line, as Tyler Smith (foot) and Zack Martin (sickness) are all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, in addition to Gilmore.
