Following the Detroit Lions’ one-point victory over her husband, Matthew Stafford, and the Los Angeles Rams, Kelly Stafford took to social media on Monday to express her appreciation for the team and to call out the fans who had jeered her family.

Returned to Michigan, the Stafford family experienced a made-for-TV moment. Kelly shared a photo of her four girls on social media sporting No. 9 Rams jackets over “Detroit born, LA raised” hoodies.

When Matthew Stafford returned, some fans jeered, and some bars declared they would not let him wear the No. 9 Lions jersey at their establishment. Before the game, Eminem begged Stafford, saying, “You owe me this favor, bro.”

The Detroit Lions defeated the Rams 24-23 on Sunday. The Detroit News’s whole coverage is available here.

Matthew Stafford responded, “I’m happy for the players,” when asked about his feelings for the city of Detroit during the postgame press conference. I’m delighted for those guys.

The quarterback for the Rams said nothing new about the community or the supporters.

With a picture of their family, Kelly Stafford wrote on Instagram, “What a season.. and for it to end at Ford Field.” “Already excited for this Rams team next season.”

“And he will be back next year Detroit, but until then, go get you one!!!” she exclaimed, defending her spouse.

Kelly received the following remark on one of her recent posts: “F them, enough with the Detroit love, they showed their true colors.”

In response, Kelly Stafford wrote: “It’s just athletics. The city is in it to win. Everything is up for grabs… aside from the spectators who jeered my kids.”

“Aside from that, I thought the atmosphere was great, and my spouse was energized by the jeers. Stafford stated, “The more you hate, the more you love.” “I see it as love that reciprocates. Now that we are gone, I hope the Lions supporters return with a Lombardi to that city because there is no feeling like it. Get it now.”

As the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, Matthew Stafford pursued a championship for a period of 12 seasons. Kelly Stafford rose to prominence as the most well-known cheerleader both online and in the arena at that time. Her over 430,000-follower Instagram feed featured their family’s life in Bloomfield Township, Detroit, the birth of four kids, and even her emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor in 2019.

Kelly and Matthew Stafford both expressed their gratitude to Detroit after Stafford was dealt to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. The SAY Detroit Play Center, which includes an artificial turf field with the couple’s foundation emblem in the center, has benefited greatly from the couple’s significant donations. After winning the Super Bowl the next year, Stafford claimed to have reached his career’s pinnacle.

Jared Goff, the quarterback for the Lions, spent his first five seasons with the Rams, which just makes things stranger. For the first time in NFL history, teams traded quarterbacks chosen first overall in the draft when they acquired Stafford for Jared Goff. Brad Holmes, the general manager of the Lions, was formerly a Ram.

At the conclusion, Matthew Stafford is shown hugging his family in a Rams post.
