In the divisional round, the San Francisco 49ers may have saved face against the Green Bay Packers, but it cost them.

Deebo Early in the game, Samuel suffered a shoulder injury that kept him out of the game for the rest of it.

His availability for the 49ers’ NFC Championship game against the Detroit Lions was immediately called into question.

One of the team’s top playmakers, Samuel is one whose absence could hurt the team’s chances of winning.

It seems that the team is cautiously optimistic about Samuel participating against the Lions, despite the fact that nothing is certain.

Samuel’s x-ray results were negative, as Ian Rapoport stated in a “Good Morning Football” segment. This is a positive start.

According to Rapoport, “his actual status moving forward is still up in the air.”

From @GMFB: With negative X-ray results, there is still cautious optimism for 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel. Additionally, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni made alterations on the defensive end of the field.snapchat.com/OeXQrgItRS

With any luck, this positive trend will continue throughout the week, and Samuel can play come game time.

Samuel still has plenty of time to recover from this injury.

Samuel, who is the ultimate competitor, seems to be doing everything in his power to return to the field and have a significant impact on this club.

The 49ers are one victory away from playing in the Super Bowl—a place they have been many times before.

They lost a heartbreaking game against the Kansas City Chiefs in their most recent Super Bowl trip in 2020.

The 49ers may play the Chiefs in this year’s Super Bowl, which might present them with an opportunity to get revenge on them four years later.
