There are just two games left to play before Super Bowl LVIII. Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy, and Jared Goff all have the chance to leave their teams’ marks on NFL history. To do so, though, they still have to advance past the championship games. The Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco 49ers have all been the subject of numerous forecasts. The legendary Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets was forced to weigh in on the situation on The Dan Patrick Show.

“I believe San Francisco has the upper hand. This is the year Lamar Jackson needs to take care of business at home once more, and this is the year the Bills ought to have caught KC. Baltimore and San Francisco seem like they could handle this. Mark Sanchez said, “You never want to bet against Mahomes, and I might regret it, but if I have to pick, I’m going with San Fran vs. Baltimore.”

Mark Sanchez is a fan of the 49ers and Ravens, not the Chiefs or Lions.

The veteran quarterback for the Jets was hesitant to simply back the Chiefs against Patrick Mahomes. He also mentioned how the Lions under Dan Campbell are capable of making an impact on the 49ers. But he went on to emphasize that in order for teams like Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead, and Chase Young to have any chance of winning Super Bowl LVIII, they will need to restrict Jared Goff.

Sanchez is also in favor of Eminem walking the Lions out of the Las Vegas game. He is aware that many Detroiters will swarm Allegiant Stadium.

The former Jets player believes the Ravens have a good chance of winning the championship this year. He thinks Lamar Jackson will keep making music for the group because he likes the way it has been. He was able to have a significant impact against the Houston Texans, who have one of the toughest defenses. Jackson completed 16 of his 22 pass attempts for 152 passing yards and two touchdowns. He took matters into his own hands because there was no weapon available. With just 11 carries, he gained 100 rushing yards and two trips to the end zone thanks to this.
