Fox's Michael Strahan got 49ers fans furious for ruining the 49ers' NFC Championship Trophy presentation.
Deebo Samuel, the wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, missed Wednesday's team practice, raising uncertainty about his availability for the NFC Championship Game.

Deebo Samuel remains a name to watch this week. The dynamic San Francisco 49ers wide receiver suffered a shoulder injury during Saturday night’s NFC Round game against the USS San Francisco 49ers vs Green bay.

Coach Kyle Shanahan cleared the air about Samuel earlier this week, or at least tried to. He said it will actually be a “routine” thing that the team will continue to monitor. Well, it’s Wednesday and Connor still isn’t fully back.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Samuel did not practice with the 49ers on Wednesday and that his status remains questionable ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the Detroit Lions.

“49ers WR Deebo Samuel will not practice today and his status for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game is unknown,” Schefter said. Schefter announced the news on the website X, formerly known as Twitter.

Samuel is one of the most productive players in the NFL. His versatility is a huge strength as he has shown the ability to catch and run the ball effectively and technically. The Niners could have gotten past the Packers without him, but the intensity and danger is increasing every week. He is very important to this team and his presence is important.

Looks like it came down to a thread.
