The Steelers are adding a new name to their offseason roster. The Steelers claimed former Ravens linebacker Jeremiah Moon off waivers on Thursday.

Head coach Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers are currently in the midst of plans that could be a crucial offseason for the future of the franchise. Although Tomlin maintained his incredible undefeated streak this year, the Steelers were quickly eliminated from the playoffs by the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round two weeks ago, leaving the team with more questions than answers.

One person who seems to have quite a few answers is none other than legendary rapper and famed Steelers fan Snoop Dogg, who recently went on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show to impart some of his wisdom on Mike Tomlin himself.

“The Steelers need fresh blood on the coaching staff and a few more members… It’s too simple right now.

We play grassroots football just to get to the playoffs only to lose,” Snoop Dogg said via Pat McAfee on head coach, where Tomlin is still one of the most talented players in the league, but pretty much everywhere else, as Pittsburgh currently looks set to continue in this cycle of mediocrity.

. Of course, quarterback play can be blamed for much of Pittsburgh’s struggles in recent seasons, and it will be interesting to see what path Tomlin and the Steelers brass choose to take this season regarding that position.
