Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has informed the Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks that he will remain in Detroit, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Johnson had no shortage of suitors and emerged as a leading candidate for the Commanders’ head coaching job as the Lions prepared for the playoffs. Now the 37-year-old will change that as Detroit continues its hunt for its first Super Bowl victory.
