The honeymoon period appears to be over for the Cowboys and Parsons. The pass rusher is obviously tired of not leading in the playoffs and is always the type of player to publicly express his frustration.

Parsons next deal to break the bank: 105.3 The Fan’s Bobby Belt wonders if the Cowboys will explore a blockbuster road deal. A Cowboys insider admitted a deal for Parsons is unlikely but “probable” given the contract projections for the star’s next deal.

Belt compared Micah Parsons’ situation with the Dallas Cowboys to other unexpected moves by teams and defensive stars in their prime.

“You know how I feel,” Belt explained on the Jan. 24 episode, “It’s just amazing. I’ve had issues with Micah where he gets a little upset or a little angry and things like that.” 2024 on the Star Love Podcast. “I wonder if the Cowboys won’t necessarily say, ‘Oh, we’ve got to get rid of this guy.’

“I wonder if it’s going to get to the point where Jalen Ramsey or Bradley Chubb are at the end of their rookie contracts and they say, ‘Look, there’s something else coming your way.’ We are dealing with some of those growing pains. This is good for all of us. If you leave, we can get the capital.

“But you’re not in a position to pay CeeDee Lamb all the money right now. We can’t pay Micah Parsons all the money,” Broaddus said.

“You have to think about Dak Prescott and what he is. You talked about people whose contracts are expiring. Can you set up a room for Micah Parsons to help you?

Elite players are nearly impossible to find in today’s NFL, but Jerry Jones and company must figure out if keeping Parsons makes the most sense for the team moving forward or trading him for a big buck.
