During the 2023–24 NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers appeared disoriented for a few weeks, but they have already begun to perform as a cohesive unit.

The Lakers still have some flexibility in their supporting group even with a strong starting lineup.

In order to strengthen the roster in the latter few months of the regular season, the Lakers are consequently gradually but steadily making a few transfers here and there.

In light of this, Harry Giles III just signed a two-way NBA contract with the Purple and Gold with the intention of bolstering the depth at the center position.

Giles responded to the confirmation of the news on his official Twitter account.

“I promise I’m ready,” Giles tweeted.

Being a member of the Lakers is not for everyone because of the fan base’s reputation for expecting excellence from each player on the team.

During their time with the Lakers, a number of outstanding role players have given in to such pressure.

Giles, though, assured the supporters that he is prepared to join one of the greatest franchises ever.

Giles played for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2023–24 NBA season before.

He averaged 3.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game in his meager 16 appearances with the squad.

He won’t be expected to do much other than improve the Lakers’ defense when he plays center, as he will only be a supporting player.
