The dallas cowboys’ team culture is being challenged after a third 12-5 regular season that went up in flames with a familiar early playoff exit.

Dak prescott, the cowboys’ quarterback, has been chastised from all angles. Prescott was selected with the 135th pick in the draft by the cowboys for the eighth time in eight years.

He has only won two playoff games during his tenure, and the team is yet to win the nfc championship under his direction. That has sparked fears about the team culture.

According to a recent cbs sports article, “the culture is great from my perspective.” prescott said. “i’ve bragged on and taken pride in it,” i said. I feel threatened if there are questions about this or concerns about it.’

At the the children’s cancer fund fundraiser, prescott spoke alongside former super bowl champion troy aikman. He claims that the team and the locker room have a great team spirit.

After a string of disappointing seasons, certain players on the dallas roster are being targeted. Tyron smith, a veteran offensive lineman, is expected to leave the field next season, which only adds to the pressure on players like prescott, micah parsons, and zack martin.

When you play for a club called “america’s team,” there will always be added pressure when a player donnes the white and silver with the blue star logo. The territory is the sum of the parts.

If the cowboys have any chance of surviving the 28-year super bowl drought, prescott, along with some of the other senior players, will need to step up next season.
