The San Francisco 49ers have played in the NFC Championship game four times in the past five years, but have yet to have a Super Bowl ring.

49ers receiver Deebo Samuel, who has lost two Super Bowls and two NFC Championship games since entering the league in 2019, spoke about the team’s chances of making another postseason run.

“It’s really heartbreaking to not be able to go to both (Super Bowls) because I was there,” Samuel said on the Up & Adams Show on Tuesday. “…People just say, ‘There’s always next year,’ but that’s what I heard in 2019, and it took us another four years to get here.” “Getting to the Super Bowl is not as easy as people think. It takes everything.”

The 49ers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in two Super Bowl appearances, losing 31-20 in 2020 and 25-22 in February.
There are some questions to answer, especially regarding the contract of receiver Brandon Aiyuk, but the 49ers are back to near normalcy next year with quarterback Brock Purdy and their long list of offensive weapons. Dew.

Samuel still believes San Francisco has what it takes to return to football’s biggest stage next year.
“If you look, 90 to 95 percent of our players are still back,” Samuel told host Kay Adams. “I have all the faith in the world in this team. It’s cool, winning all four of the five NFC Championships and winning two Super Bowls is all cool and good. But it’s not cool not to be.” The team hosts Lombardi at the end of the year. “Everyone on this team has goals and I hope they chase them and achieve them.”
