The highly anticipated wide receiver has heard reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers will be his new home.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reports that the Steelers are probably not done bolstering their roster. Responding to a question regarding the team’s potential next move, wide receiver Mike Williams (a free agent) indicated it “might be a bigger catch.”

The 49ers wide receiver tweeted to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, stating he’s heard the two look similar, which furthered the anticipation surrounding Aiyuk and the team.

According to reports, the San Francisco standout has been considered for trade by the Steelers. According to reports, the 49ers recently rejected an offer from the Jacksonville Jaguars and requested a first-round selection and wide receiver Zay Jones in exchange.

Pittsburgh will probably add another wide receiver to their squad this summer, whether it is through free agency, the NFL Draft, or a trade. The two teams are scheduled to meet this week.

You can’t rule out the Steelers making a bid for the All-Pro Aiyuk, especially because they’ve already completed three trades in the past two weeks.
