Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch introduced Monday that he is retiring from the NFL at age 28 after a six-year career, however he’s no longer calling it quits because he wishes to.
“I love the game of soccer so much, and my body may not cooperate any longer,” Vander Esch said by the Dallas Cowboys website.
Vander Esch, who has dealt with neck issues when you consider that his college enjoying days, sustained a neck injury in November 2023. That injury is now forcing him to stop his time as an NFL participant
