Tyron Smith will most likely return to the Dallas Cowboys at some point.

In contrast to what transpired on Monday, when the all-time All-Pro gave an emotional formal farewell, this will be an emotional ceremonial reunion.an official farewell from the great Tyron Smith, a former offensive lineman.

That “meeting” in the future will probably take the shape of Smith, 33, deciding to sign a “one-day contract” at some point in order to terminate his Cowboys career. But in the interim?

“It’s difficult to condense thirteen years into a single, brief message to all the thousands of people who have contributed to my unforgettable Dallas experience. Cowboy Nation, you have all supported us during this long and crazy journey that has been full of ups and downs.

“I was fortunate enough to be offered the chance to play with the Dallas Cowboys in 2011 as a young player out of USC. My only goal has been to give this organization, my teammates, and the fans all I have since the day I was chosen. I enjoyed being a Cowboy and building ties with folks throughout the years who will always have a special place in my heart.
