“They particularly appreciate Douglas Luiz, as I’ve indicated before, and they know a lot about Amadou Onana. Manu Kone, a midfielder for Borussia Monchengladbach, has recently been discussed in the media.
“Arsenal has long liked the other players mentioned, but as of right now, I’m not aware of anything official regarding Kone.
“Kone was on the lists of PSG and Liverpool a year ago, so he could be a fascinating player to watch in the summer generally, but I’m not sure it’s a name on Arsenal’s list right now.”
The present deal for the 22-year-old is scheduled to expire in 2026.
