July 3, 2024

These are all the dates that you should be aware of regarding the Jaguars’ offseason workout schedules.

Although the draft season is well underway, there will be plenty of activity over the remaining offseason. The NFL released a press release from the Jacksonville Jaguars announcing the dates of their offseason activities

On April 15, the Jaguars will kick up Phase One of their offseason workouts. They and every other team will be restricted, for a period of two weeks, to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation, according to a news statement from the league. While the Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, and Washington Commanders kick off their seasons on April 2, other teams will do so on April 8.

The following three weeks of the curriculum are included in Phase Two. Teams can conduct drills and lessons individually or collectively. While defensive players can line up at a walkthrough pace across defensive players, offensive players can line up across from other offensive players.

Phase Three of the program lasts for the next four weeks. Teams may engage in organized team activities (OTA) for a maximum of ten days. While live contact is prohibited, players can now line up against one another in drills for 7-on-7, 9-on-9, and 11-on-11. Teams that break the non-contact regulations risk fines and practice days lost.

The Jaguars were fined $300,000 in 2021 for infractions involving contact during offseason training. Urban Meyer, the head coach at the time, lost $100,000 and the team $200,000 in fines. They additionally forfeited two OTA sessions the following year as part of the penalty.

This is the full schedule of the Jaguars’ 2024 offseason exercises.
