Liverpool appeared prepared to compete all the way to the top of the Premier League against Arsenal and Man City. But this is exactly what Jürgen Klopp’s team needs after they made a mistake.

These days, Liverpool does not regularly lose at Anfield. However, the Reds have dropped their last two games without scoring a goal, signaling the end of the Jürgen Klopp era.

There is no room for error for any of the remaining teams as the run-in is almost here. It is no longer in Liverpool’s hands; at least one of them is expected to win every game they have left, and it is possible for all three to do so.

Liverpool must now hope that Arsenal loses rather than just drops points, since Manchester City now leads by two points and has a superior goal differential. When it seems like neither team is going to score, the Reds need both teams to do so.
