Everything is changing in Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp is leaving Anfield after nine years, with some of their stars now in their 30s.One of them is Mohamed Salah, who has been widely linked with a move. The Reds rejected last year’s world-record bid from the Saudi Pro League, but this summer could be very different. Here, FootballTransfers used SciSport to sample the ideal names to replace Salah ahead of next season.

Yeremy Pino

Right-winger Yeremy Pino, who plays for Villarreal, began to establish himself as a potent attacking weapon the previous campaign. Last summer, there were rumors that the Spaniard might join Manchester United, but nothing materialized.

Although he has stayed with the Yellow Submarine, he has not played this season because of an ACL injury he suffered in November. But Pino is still a good option for the Reds once he’s fully recovered.

Johan Bakayoko

Right now, Johan Bakayoko is probably the most well-liked contender to succeed Salah. The PSV winger, who has contributed 26 goals in 44 games this season, is still among Holland’s most dangerous players.

Although the Belgian has a contract that expires in 2026, it is generally believed that he will transfer during the summer transfer window.

Crysencio Summerville

Since the January transfer window, Liverpool has admired Crysencio Summerville, as FootballTransfers previously revealed this month.

The Leeds attacker is a target for the club, and it’s believed that several top teams in Europe will be vying for his signature whether or not the Whites are promoted this season.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ended the previous campaign with 13 assists and 12 goals in Serie A. The Georgia international did start to fade toward the end of the season, but he is now back to his best.

Despite being more of a left-winger, Kvaratskhelia has contributed 17 goals in 29 games and is capable of playing on the other side and succeeding.

Alexis Saelemaekers

Alexis Saelemaekers is not quite at the level where he can directly replace Salah, but at 24 years old, there is still room for improvement.

He is currently on loan at Bologna from AC Milan – but Thiago Motta’s side have an option to buy the winger at the end of the season.
