When Brandon Graham, the defensive end for the Eagles, was taken on stage to reveal an NFL Draft pick on Friday night, he couldn’t resist taking a jab at the Cowboys.

Before Philly selected Cooper DeJean at No. 40 in the second round, Graham made his intentions apparent in Detroit early in the process.

In a nod to his alma university, Michigan, whose national championship-winning squad was acknowledged before to the start of the second round, he began by yelling, “Go Blue.”

Following the initiation of a ‘E-A-G-L-E-S’ chant, Graham went on to criticize their despised NFC East opponents.

‘Dallas sucks!,’ he said. ‘All day.’

When Brandon Graham yelled, “Dallas sucks,” on stage during the NFL Draft, the audience became agitated.

The seasoned Philadelphia DE also cheered for his old mater, the University of Michigan, by saying “Go Blue.”

“Go Blue… and y’all already know, Dallas sucks!” @brandongraham55 knew how to get the crowd in Detroit on his side.

Cornerback Cooper DeJean of Iowa was chosen by the Eagles on Friday with the 40th overall pick.

NFL Network host Rich Eisen responded to the comment on air with a startled “woah.”

After that, Graham laughed as the audience applauded his tough words.

Since Philadelphia selected him in the 2010 draft, the 36-year-old has played for them his entire career.

Quinyon Mitchell of Toledo is the first cornerback selected by the Eagles at pick No. 22.

DeJean’s arrival strengthens a secondary that already features James Bradberry and Darius Slay.

Many predicted DeJean would be selected in the first round. DeJean raised eyebrows when he claimed he could defeat fellow Iowa product Caitlin Clark in basketball.
