Without a doubt, the Cowboys’ 2023 decision to let Elliott go had 90% to do with his financial situation. Please understand that productivity has decreased and thus a stat sheet cannot be contested. Should supporters gauge what’s expected of them? Indeed, Elliott is not expected to start if Rico Dowdle remains healthy, and the Cowboys will probably take a running back by committee strategy to the game. Still, Zeke’s return to the squad feels good.
