Jacksonville Jaguars Lock In QB Trevor Lawrence, RB Travis Etienne Jr. with Fifth-Year Options
According to reports, the Jacksonville Jaguars have declared that they will exercise the fifth-year options of two-time ACC Player of the Year running back Travis Etienne Jr. and Pro Bowl quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
In the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, one of the best quarterbacks, Lawrence, was selected as the first pick, and Etienne was chosen as the 25th pick.
Every rookie selected in the first round signs a four-year contract with the team, with an option to extend for a fifth year. Lawrence has thrown 39 interceptions in addition to 58 touchdowns in three seasons.
Etienne, the 2018 CFP National Champion, finished with 2,133 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 487 carries.
Due to a preseason foot injury, he missed his debut season.
