The Pittsburgh Steelers needed to replace Diontae Johnson

In the draft, the Steelers selected Roman Wilson, a standout receiver from Michigan, to partner with George Pickens, but they still needed an experienced receiver.

In recent weeks, DK Metcalf, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd have all been associated with the Steelers. On Tuesday, Boyd inked a contract with the Tennessee Titans.

The Pittsburgh Steelers added a former playmaker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose free agency choices were limited at this time in the season.
