3 best-case schedule scenarios for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024

The regular-season schedule is typically made public by the NFL in May. However, they haven’t yet released any information for this year. The Jacksonville Jaguars will be watching for a few things, regardless of when it’s announced, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, who speculates that it might be released after the 13th.

Every year, the schedule hurts certain clubs and benefits others. Despite having a good slate in 2023, the Jags were unable to capitalize on it. They have, however, changed a lot throughout the offseason, and if any of these three things happen the next season, they might recover.

The coaching staff and the roster have been altered by the Jags. They fired defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell following the 2023 campaign and replaced him with Ryan Nielsen. Under Nielsen’s leadership, the Atlanta Falcons defense improved the previous season, and Nielsen is anticipated to have a similar effect in Jacksonville the following year.

The front office made improvements on both sides of the ball in terms of personnel. They acquired defensive tackle Arik Armstead, center Mitch Morse, wide receiver Gabe Davis, and return specialist Devin Duvernay to address their biggest needs. After that, the Jaguars added players like Brian Thomas Jr. and Maason Smith to complete out their squad.
