The Cowboys’ second-round selection Marshawn Kneeland is the only rookie who is still without a contract.

The Mavericks and Stars on Thursday night were too strong for the Cowboys to catch them off guard.

However, the club did attend to a few matters.

The Cowboys agreed to agreements with all but one of their rookie class just before those two teams returned to the ice and court to continue their second-round playoff games.

According to two persons with knowledge of the club’s activities, Tyler Guyton, the first-round pick, and six other members of the team’s draft class came to agreements, as reported to The Dallas Morning News.

Marshawn Kneeland, a Western Michigan product selected in the second round, is currently the only rookie without a contract.

Along with Guyton, the following players have signed: defensive tackle Justin Rogers (seventh round), receiver Ryan Flournoy (sixth round), offensive lineman Nathan Thomas (seventh round), linebacker Marist Liufau (third round), defensive back Caelen Carson (fifth round), and offensive lineman Cooper Beebe (third round).

Arriving at The Star on Thursday were the rookie class and other participants in this minicamp, which is more akin to an orientation session. Friday and Saturday are the days the players are expected to practice on the field.
