Many believed they would make a deal for San Francisco For weeks now, there have been rumors that the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to trade for a wide receiver. Many believed they would make a deal for San Francisco 49ers player Brandon Aiyuk during the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Steelers are still in need of a top wide receiver as a result of it not happening. Russell Wilson’s top option right now is George Pickens, and it probably will remain that way. The Steelers would, however, dearly love to add another receiver who is capable of playing at the No. 1B position.

Just a handful of well-known players are available on the trade market as the NFL offseason is winding down. The Steelers have few options if they want to make a significant move.

Star wide receiver Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos, who is presently in a contract dispute with the team, is one player to keep a very careful eye on. Courtland Sutton of the Broncos is traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a blockbuster deal.

It was proposed in a recent Bleacher Report piece that Sutton would join the Pittsburgh Steelers in a trade. Sutton would greatly enhance the offensive capabilities of Pittsburgh.

This is how the Broncos and Steelers would fare in the proposed deal. The 2025 fifth-round pick, Courtland Sutton, is acquired by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Denver Broncos will receive a third-round and a sixth-round pick in 2025. In 2023, Sutton will be coming off of another fantastic season with the Broncos. In the end, he caught 59 receptions for 10 touchdowns and 772 yards. For the manner Denver used their offense, those were significant statistics. The Pittsburgh Steelers would have no trouble making this trade.

Pickens and Sutton together at wide out would be a formidable combination. Van Jefferson and Roman Wilson would then be available to them as their third and fourth choices.

Conversely, the Broncos would be escaping an unfortunate circumstance as a result of the transaction.

Regarding his contract, Sutton and Denver have not had the best conversations. It would make sense to move on now, particularly if they can add a solid third-round pick in the offseason to add additional young players.

Going into the 2024 season, Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers must be pleased with their current circumstances. Even though they still made the playoffs previous season, they had a lot of improvement.

As the season approaches, expect to hear whispers about the Steelers much more. A wide receiver like Courtland Sutton would be a great addition to Pittsburgh, and they would be happy to make a trade for him.
