The organized team activities (OTAs) for the Detroit Lions have started, and linebacker Derrick Barnes has excellent news

Barnes was back on the field for the first day of team practice at the Lions’ Allen Park facility, following his critical absence from the NFC Championship game due to a knee injury.

Barnes is seen enthusiastically engaging in drills in team photos, indicating that his recuperation is progressing.

The Lions will greatly benefit from Barnes’ presence after he was forced to watch from the sidelines following his early exit in the NFC Championship game, which saw the team narrowly miss making their first Super Bowl trip.
