CeeDee Lamb may be waiting on Justin Jefferson to sign, Cowboys shouldn’t allow that to happen

When it comes to the contracts of their great players, the Cowboys front office has a history of playing the waiting game. Despite numerous instances of this technique backfiring on them, the team hasn’t learned from its past failures.
The front office needs to close a deal quickly since Lamb is about to reset the market.
The Cowboys have faced “tight” financial restraints and approaching contracts, making this offseason difficult for them.
Maybe it’s time to start raking the yard a little bit and pay these workers before the number increases, while Jerry Jones waits for the leaves to fall.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, who brokered the story early on Sunday morning, Lamb is content to wait until the Justin Jefferson domino falls before agreeing to a new deal.
The Cowboys brass, though, ought to prevent it from getting to that stage, so they might be better off doing everything they can right now to shut it down before that happens.
In contrast, Lamb is not the first to wait for the Jefferson shoe to drop. The Vikings wide receiver is highly regarded for being the best in his position, but statistically speaking, Lamb is superior in a few key areas. Lamb has 35 touchdowns to Jefferson’s 32, and 395 receptions to Jefferson’s 392.

If you give him a number that he feels comfortable with and it happens before Jefferson’s, you might be able to get a different bargain. Jerry and company need to show us for once, even though they assure us everything is under control.
Be proactive and finish it before it costs you millions of dollars. Don’t place the blame on Lamb, Prescott, or Parsons.
