According to his manager, Enea Bastianini will compete in MotoGP on a KTM next year, following rumors that Jack Miller was interested in one of the Tech3 seats.

His manager virtually confirmed the story on Italian radio, so it looks like it’s a done deal after all. On the Zona Cesarini show on RAI Radio1, Carlo Pernat stated, “Enea Bastianini will ride an official KTM next year.”

In MotoGP jargon, “official” refers to the most recent model, the same as the one used by the factory team. Given that Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is already booked up for 2025 and that the Austrian manufacturer views Tech3 as an extension of its own team, ‘La Bestia’ will be joining the Herve Poncharal-owned team, which presently fields Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez.

The Italian MotoGP last weekend confirmed Acosta’s promotion to Red Bull KTM, which means the rookie from Spain will replace Miller in the driver’s seat.

The Queenslander acknowledged that was KTM’s natural course of action, but he maintained that, considering his involvement in the creation of the RC16, he should be allowed to join GasGas.

But because Bastianini has reportedly joined, Millerand/or Fernandez will likely be looking for a new place to live in 2025.

Brad Binder has already contracted with KTM for the upcoming season; nevertheless, his manager recently asserted that the South African rider is bound to the factory team by his contract, even though it is believed that the four riders could be rotated as the manufacturer sees fit.

The four-time MotoGP race winner, who has also been connected to a return to the Honda ranks, was “not too stressed” about securing a spot on the grid for the following season.
