For the 2024 season, the Dallas Cowboys have almost all of the components together; however, a former Pittsburgh Steelers starter may be the missing piece.

The offensive line of the team has long been a strength, but center Mason Cole has the ability to elevate things even further.

After playing for the Steelers for the previous two seasons, Cole is still without a team. According to writer Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report, the Cowboys would be a great place to land.

“The Steelers are likely starting a rookie at center, but they don’t seem interested in Cole.” On June 13, Ballentine wrote, “Cole could be used as an insurance policy by a team like the Cowboys, who might start rookie Cooper Beebe at center, or the Denver Broncos, who have an intriguing position battle at the pivot.”

Cole’s 73 league starts have given him a wealth of experience. He has played for the Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh, and other teams.

However, he will require a new residence by 2024. Although the Cowboys appear enthusiastic about Cooper Beebe, the rookie, it makes sense to provide some coverage.

Dallas Expecting A Lot Out of Cooper Beebe

Beebe is a member of the two-man unit that the Cowboys use to strengthen the offensive line. Beebe is expected to be a first-round pick, along with Tyler Guyton, an Oklahoma prospect.

Dallas appears to be getting ready for Beebe, who was selected with the 73rd overall choice, to make his debut this autumn. He will play center because the Cowboys have two of the top guards in the NFL in Tyler Smith and Zack Martin.

Although starting and moving to center may be difficult, Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy is enthusiastic about Beebe.

He intends to participate in the center competition. Of course, he has played every position, but guard is where he has played the most. That was included in the assessment, according to McCarthy.

We are really, really excited about him. His position flex: there aren’t enough players, much less lineman, who can play two positions when you consider the 17 games in today’s game and our history. Indeed, he will undoubtedly have the chance to play center field.
