Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and his spouse Marissa revealed their pregnancy on Instagram on Thursday.
“A little Lawrence on the way,” the couple revealed on the social networking network.
The Lawrences were introduced at Cartersville High School in Cartersville, Georgia, and were married in 2021 following Trevor’s football career at Clemson University and Marissa’s soccer career at Anderson University.
The Lawrences posted pictures of themselves clutching sonogram images on Thursday, but they did not specify whether they were expecting a boy or a girl.
Fourth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who inked a five-year, $275 million contract this off-season, is scheduled to report to training camp at the Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville, Florida on July 23 along with other veteran Jaguars players.
During his 16 games last season, Lawrence, 24, completed 65.6% of his passes for 4,016 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. During his first 50 starts, the 2022 Pro Bowl selection tallied 39 interceptions and 58 touchdown passes.
After helping the Jaguars make the playoffs in his second season as a starter, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft finished 8–8 in 2023.
