There are moments when the Dallas Cowboys just can’t stop themselves. They are aware that CeeDee Lamb will need payment at his market value. He, along with his camp,
opponents, and teammates, are all aware of it. It would be completely pointless to drag this out any longer because of this.
They’re simply succeeding in irritating him, which is never a good thing. It’s been reported that Lamb will not report to training camp until he signs a new contract. For this reason, former standout wide receiver Plaxico Burress criticized Jerry Jones and the Cowboys franchise.
He asserted during his most recent appearance on The Carton Show that if he had been awarded the contract he deserves, all of this might have been prevented.
The Cowboys cannot afford for him to leave town on his own initiative or lose him. If they were going to pay him anyway, why wait till his price increases? Regarding player happiness, contract negotiation, and truly obtaining the best deal possible for its players, the Cowboys have made dubious choices.
Even if it means holding out and skipping the first few games of the new season, Lamb is a superstar and should be paid accordingly.
