During the Reno Rodeo, Hutchings had an extra pair of angel wings tied to his back.
During the Reno Rodeo in Nevada, Tristen Hutchings won everything in hand. Round 1 was won by the cowboy, who scored 90.5 points on Flying U Rodeo’s Bad Habits.
Continuing the momentum, he tightened the grip on the Short Go, scoring another 90.5 points on Rosser Rodeo’s Logun’s Legacy. Hutchings’ season earnings increased by $23,342 due to his exceptional accomplishments.
Even if money plays a big role in the cowboy’s ranks, this victory has more significance than money and will always hold a unique place in his career.
“In an automobile accident last October, prior to the NFR, I lost my mother.” I want to dedicate this victory in Reno to my mother because I haven’t really won anything significant since then,” Hutchings remarked.
With an additional set of golden wings, the world’s sixth-ranked bull rider gained much-needed momentum and is rapidly approaching his third consecutive NFR qualifying.
