Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has quickly become one of the NFL’s brightest young stars — and throughout his rise, his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, has been a consistent presence by his side.
Gibbs, now 23, entered the league as a first-round pick out of Alabama in the 2023 NFL Draft. Since then, he has outperformed early expectations in Detroit. After scoring 10 touchdowns as a rookie and 16 the following year, he opened the 2025 season with eight touchdowns in his first nine games, keeping him firmly in the conversation with greats like Barry Sanders.
Despite keeping most of his private life under wraps, Gibbs has drawn attention off the field thanks to occasional posts featuring Anderson. Before the 2025 campaign kicked off, he shared a summer photo dump on Instagram, which included snapshots of the couple together.
Born in 2001, Anderson is a realtor, model, and social media personality. She grew up in Chicago and notes Korean and Swedish heritage in her Instagram bio. She began her real estate career in Illinois and now works with Crain Homes in Michigan, a luxury brokerage that partners with the Lions.
Alongside real estate, Anderson is also signed as a model with The Industry — an agency with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. Her online presence has expanded steadily, and she now has roughly 169,000 Instagram followers. Her “get ready with me” videos, filmed before Lions games, frequently gain traction, though she’s intentional about not relying on Gibbs’ fame to grow her audience.
Speaking to People, she explained that she avoids centering him in her content: “When I make my videos, I don’t say, ‘Get ready with me for my boyfriend’s game.’ I don’t try to use his name to get followers.”
Although many of her posts go viral, Anderson doesn’t publish as often as typical influencers. She prefers creating content because she enjoys it — not because she feels obligated. “I didn’t want it to become something I didn’t love doing,” she said. “That’s part of why I keep up with my real estate career.”
Gibbs and Anderson made their relationship public in October 2023 by sharing Halloween costume photos. However, she had posted a now-deleted video a month after the 2023 draft hinting at their connection, captioned: “POV: You planned to stay single but accidentally caught feelings.” After more than two years together, she appears to have settled comfortably into life in Detroit.
Off the field, Anderson has developed close friendships with other players’ partners. “I got super lucky with the group of girls I’m around, and the guys are the same — great teammates and genuinely good people,” she said. She also hinted that the Lions’ environment is more supportive than what she’s heard about other locker rooms. “Friends on other teams tell me some crazy stories,” she added. “Here, we can just text each other like, ‘Who wants a girls’ night tonight?’”
