The Detroit Lions have chosen a rising Nashville artist to deliver the national anthem before their matchup against the New York Giants.

The team revealed that Jamison Belushi—a singer, songwriter, and performer—will take the field at Ford Field to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” just prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Belushi has built a career not only in music but also in acting, appearing in projects such as The Last Summer, Karate Ghost, and The Stranger in My Home.

She is the daughter of Jim Belushi, a well-known actor and comedian who spent two seasons on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s. His career includes his work with the Blues Brothers, the long-running sitcom According to Jim, and movies like K-9, Curly Sue, Canadian Bacon, and Trading Places.

Heading into the game, the Lions hold a 6–4 record, placing them third in the NFC North behind the Packers and Bears. The Giants, at 2–9, sit at the bottom of the NFC East standings.

After this matchup, Detroit will remain home for their traditional Thanksgiving Day game against Green Bay. CeCe Winans, a Detroit native, is slated to perform the national anthem for that contest, while newly inducted Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Jack White is scheduled to headline the halftime show. The production is being overseen by Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg.
