Jett Harrison will be making his first trip to Ohio State’s campus this week, going from one Harrison to another.
Jett Harrison, a five-star wide receiver, is the younger brother of Marvin Harrison Jr. , a former Ohio State Buckeye and now Arizona Cardinal wide receiver. Marvin Harrison Sr. , a three-time All-Pro first team member and former Super Bowl winner, is their father. Although Jett Harrison will graduate high school in 2028, the Buckeyes are taking care of business beforehand.
Before Jett’s sophomore year began last May, the Buckeyes’ head coach Ryan Day extended him a scholarship. This fall, Jett will be starting his junior year. The youngest Harrison brother ought to be more acquainted with Ohio State than any other school.

When the first Rivals300 list was published, Jett Harrison was ranked as the top receiver in his group. Harrison is 6-foot-1 and has received offers from Oregon, Penn State, and Syracuse, where his father went to college. Between 1992 and 1995, Marvin Harrison Sr. attended Syracuse University, where he played football.

According to 247Sports’ composite ranking system, Harrison is the ninth-best overall prospect in the class of 2028. To discuss what makes Jett Harrison such an amazing talent, Rivals recently spoke with Messay Hailemariam, the head coach of St. Joseph Prep.
“He’s the real deal all the way through… He’s a fantastic route runner. He will block. He will go to any length to put himself in the best possible position. He’ll make an excellent decoy. In the previous year, our secondary was similar to that, and he truly made amazing catches in critical moments.
Whenever Jett gets to college, he has a history of superiority to live up to. His head coach obviously believes that his talent and mentality are up for the challenges that come with the expectations.
How Jett has done in high school thus far
Last autumn, Jett Harrison had a ridiculous 20 touchdowns and 849 receiving yards on 50 receptions. His freshman year was equally impressive. MaxPreps awarded Harrison Freshman All-American honors after he caught ten receiving touchdowns.
This autumn, Chris Henry Jr. , a five-star wide receiver, will be playing his first game for Ohio State as a freshman. Because Jett Harrison’s rookie year is also Henry’s junior year, he won’t be eligible for the NFL Draft until then.
The youngest Harrison has the opportunity to establish one of the most potent receiving tandems in college football history as well as in Ohio State football history.
