Mike Vrabel, the New England Patriots’ coach, has never been one to avoid uncomfortable situations with reporters during press conferences.
During his stint as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, he generated several such incidents.
However, it appears that Vrabel, who is married to wife Jen Vrabel, does not want to speak with the media and engage in what would undoubtedly be another uncomfortable moment in answering questions about his current affair scandal involving The Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini, who is married to husband Kevin Goldschmidt.
Vrabel dodges the press amid the Russini controversy.
ESPN’s Mike Reiss stated on Sunday that Vrabel would not engage with journalists during the team’s pre-draft press conference on Monday, something that head coaches usually do.

His coaching philosophy is based on that principle. However, Vrabel finds himself breaking his own counsel after being recently caught cosying up to Russini at an adults-only hotel in Arizona.
After hearing that Vrabel would not be speaking with journalists, fans swamped social media on Sunday, slamming him for failing to accept responsibility and confront the truth about his alleged affair.
