“I just saw him running down the line, and it didn’t seem right,” he explained. “I asked him if he could go from first to third or first to home if a double was struck in the gap. He didn’t respond to me, so I said, “Okay, that’s fine. ” He wanted to play more, but I was unable to push it in these conditions. I believe he will tell you that he is ready to go.
Nimmo stated that he expects no challenges and aims to return on Friday, adding that his departure on Wednesday was merely a precaution.
Rangers Must Hope That Brandon Nimmo’s Injury Does Not Last
This is not the first time Nimmo has had this problem this season, as he left early against the New York Yankees on April 29 and the Detroit Tigers on May 2, according to McFarland. He then sat out the following two games beginning on May 2.
Hamstring problems are well known for being challenging to recover from since they are prone to re-aggravation. They are also classified into several grades, with Grade 1 being a minor damage that heals in less than a week, while Grades 2 and 3 taking months to recover, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
