The University of Wisconsin football team seems to have located its next behind-the-scenes planner.

According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, Wisconsin is anticipated to recruit Morocco Brown, a veteran NFL personnel executive, as the program’s next general manager, bringing more than two decades of scouting and personnel expertise to Madison.

And in many aspects, the timing is appropriate.

Former Badgers football general manager Marcus Sedberry was appointed interim athletic director when Chris McIntosh left his position as Wisconsin’s athletic director to join the Big Ten.
