The Tennessee Volunteers basketball program has done an excellent job with the transfer portal, totally rebuilding their squad in preparation for the 2026 collegiate basketball season. The Vols are likely to have one of the finest rosters now that their transfer portal class is nearing completion, but their main aim is still on the board.

The goal is to recruit the country’s greatest remaining player in the transfer market, Juke Harris, a guard/forward with the Wake Forest team. Harris was excellent in 2025, finishing the season with an average of 21. 4 points, 6. 5 rebounds, 1. 9 assists, and 1. 3 steals per game. He also had a shooting split of 44/33/78 from the field.

The great prospect has been weighing four possibilities, since he has not totally ruled out entering the NBA Draft. If he were to contemplate the draft, he would be either a first-round pick or a second-round pick. He is also someone who is contemplating three schools, with the Vols near the top.

The Michigan Wolverines, who are presently Tennessee’s biggest competitor, and the North Carolina Tar Heels are among the other schools that the Vols are aggressively recruiting, but the latter seems to have the least possibility of getting him, since the NBA now seems to be the front runner. While things are still in full swing, Chris Low of On3 revealed his prediction from the prospect’s camp on a choice they believe is on the horizon. This is what he had to say.

Chris Low Gets Real While Discussing Juke Harris

“You never say never, but all of my information suggests that Juke Harris will pull the trigger and relocate to Tennessee this week,” Low said on a RockyTopInsider Podcast on Sunday.

Low would then go on to say more about the potential destination, describing how the talented transfer prospect’s mother feels.

“I know his mother is a big supporter of the show, a big fan of Rick Barnes. Tennessee was in the thick of it right out of high school. “

If the Vols were to acquire Harris, he would be their seventh transfer addition. It is also worth noting that the Vols are now ranked as the No. 4 team in the transfer portal, and if they acquire Harris, they are expected to compete for the top position with the Louisville Cardinals. Harris would join some of the best transfers in the class.
