The FSU Seminoles are looking to secure a few early commitments in the 2028 recruiting cycle, and they have recently welcomed a large number of candidates from the class to campus. On Saturday, they will hold another one.
Anthony Blalock, a blue-chip offensive lineman, used social media on Friday to announce that he will be in Tallahassee. It will be his first visit to Florida State.
Blalock said, “I will be at Florida State tomorrow!!! “.
Blalock is ranked No. 296 nationally and No. 23 among offensive tackles by the Rivals industry rankings. The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder is also the No. 10 recruit in the state of Ohio.
Blalock has received offers from institutions like Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, North Carolina, Syracuse, and more. He also recently visited Notre Dame.
If things go well this weekend, FSU may add its name to Blalock’s offer list. This is the sort of player that offensive line coach Herb Hand needs to attract.
