Kawhi Leonard, a Los Angeles Clippers superstar, might be the most notable name to watch in the next NBA offseason, aside from Giannis Antetokounmpo. His tenure with the Clippers might be coming to an end. If LA receives a trade proposal that they cannot refuse. After the Clippers failed to make the playoffs again, the writing might be on the wall.

A recent ESPN hypothetical transaction situation suggests four possible deals for the Clippers to consider. ESPN’s team of NBA Insiders collaborated on these scenarios, with Insider Bobby Marks providing analysis. The four clubs are the Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat.

The Heat will eventually decide to make the trade for Leonard, utilizing Pat Riley’s recent remarks about “being furious off” to push them to complete it.

Miami Heat gets:

Kawhi Leonard.
Kris Dunn

LA Clippers receive:

Tyler Herro
Andrew Wiggins
2030 unprotected first.
2032 Unprotected First

“The Heat have been attempting to acquire a real franchise superstar for years, and this would accomplish that purpose. Leonard will be the centerpiece of a Heat squad that might help Miami return to the glory of the Butler era. Leonard is a two-way standout whose playing style meshes well with the Heat’s culture, while Dunn is a strong defensive guard who might form a tandem with ‘Off-Night’ Davion Mitchell to give opposing backcourts nightmares.

“Herro would provide the Clippers a decent young guard to play alongside Garland, Wiggins remains a starting-caliber small forward, and the two first-rounders would give them more cash to accelerate the rebuilding process,” according to Andre Snellings.

“Acquiring Leonard would appease his (Riley’s) rage, at least for the time being. Snellings’ proposed trade is a victory for Miami, not just because of the superstar they would be gaining, but also because of who is still on the squad. The Heat will keep the No. 12 selection in June’s draft, as well as 10 players from this season’s squad, including Bam Adebayo. Miami may also re-sign free agent Norman Powell while remaining under the luxury tax since they are receiving less money in the transaction. “
