Jack Grealish has appeared to respond to his critics, stating that he is looking forward to returning to football. Photos surfaced online earlier this week showing the on-loan Everton player asleep during a day out with friends in Manchester last weekend.

Photos revealed the England international sleeping next to a booze-filled table at the same time as his squad was being thrashed by West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Grealish did not break any club disciplinary rules by being out in Manchester last Saturday, and on Thursday evening, he published a series of images on Instagram, beginning with one of him shirtless on an exercise bike with the caption: “April… let me live hallelujah. ” Cannot wait to be back on the field. “

Grealish, who surprised five Special Olympics Great Britain athletes during their VIP trip of Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier this week as a prize for their outstanding efforts in finishing the London Marathon just a day earlier, joined Everton on a temporary deal during the summer transfer window after falling out with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

One of the primary reasons the 30-year-old relocated was to get the opportunity to play in England’s World Cup team.

Although Grealish impressed for David Moyes’ side, scoring twice and providing six assists in all competitions, his season was cut short in January due to a stress fracture in his foot, which required surgery.

Everton agreed to spend around £12 million to pay the bulk of Grealish’s compensation when signing him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. City added a £50 million purchase option in the loan agreement, although this value was assigned to him for accounting purposes.

Everton’s goal is to prolong Grealish’s stay for a second season, ideally on loan, and the club intends to officially investigate that at the conclusion of the current season. Grealish provided an update on his rehabilitation earlier this week, stating that the procedure went exceptionally well and that his surgeon is pleased with his progress.

I feel wonderful in myself right now. I had a 10-week Zoom discussion with the surgeon, who told BBC Sport that at this point, things couldn’t be better. So for me, it’s happy days and great to hear news like that.

Grealish also stated that Everton have taken excellent care of him during his extended time on the sidelines, adding: I can’t thank Everton enough for how they’ve treated me since I got hurt.

They’ve been outstanding. From the workers to the players and management.

And, despite the fact that Grealish’s future remains uncertain, former Everton and Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry believes he will have no shortage of opportunities this summer. Speaking through BetMGM, he said: “I remember speaking last summer when all the noise was about and I felt it would be a fantastic move for both the club and Jack.

“I knew he would be eager to win a World Cup spot, which is why he got off to a good start, but unfortunately injuries prevented him from doing so. “

“He’s the kind of player that Everton fans adore. He will get the crowd off their seats, give 100 percent, and add some X Factor to the performance.

“Jack is going to have to make some significant decisions and look at his possibilities, but with my Everton head on I would love to see him at Everton next season, but I’m sure there will be interest from other clubs as well.
