According to reports, the Miami Heat are expected to offer Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr. , a 2026 first-round selection, and future draft compensation for Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer.

The Miami Heat are widely expected to be one of the teams actively pursuing a trade for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer.

According to Shams Charania, the Heat came extremely close to acquiring Giannis at the last trade deadline, with Miami apparently offering Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, and draught selections in the deal.

Now, as the offseason approaches, NBA correspondent Evan Sidery reports that the Heat are likely to make a comparable offer to Milwaukee, with additional players and draft picks included.

Updated trade offer:

Tyler Herro.
Kel’el Ware
Jaime Jaquez Jr.
2026 first round pick.
Future draft compensation

The Heat were not the only club seeking for Giannis. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors were among the most serious contenders.

League sources said that competitor executives thought Bucks GM John Horst was seriously open to trade talks if the return included high young talent or a large number of draft picks.

Looking ahead, Antetokounmpo’s future remains a major issue. In October, he will be eligible to sign a four-year deal extension worth up to $275 million.

If he opts not to extend, he will be a free agent following the 2026-27 season, or Milwaukee may explore trade talks before then.

Giannis has played all 13 seasons of his NBA career with the Bucks.
