BYU has made the cut for another prized recruit. On Thursday, JeovannI Henley, a three-star player, reduced his list of finalists to five, with BYU making the cut alongside Penn State, Washington, Texas, Washington, and Cal.
Henley has competing offers from UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, Minnesota, and Georgia Tech, among others.
Henley is categorized as an athlete by recruiting agencies. He plays both running and defensive back at his high school. Recently, BYU’s defensive coaching team paid him a visit. If he chose to join the Cougars, he would most likely play on defense.
