Monga became Leicester’s youngest ever goalscorer at the age of 16, when he scored the team’s lone goal in last August’s 2-1 loss to Preston North End.

At the age of just 16 years and 37 days, he broke Jude Bellingham’s previous record for the youngest championship history. Bellingham had reached the milestone for Birmingham City in 2019 at the age of 16 years and 63 days.

After making his debut off the bench in Leicester’s 3-0 loss to Newcastle United, the kid also became the second-youngest debutante in Premier League history in the 2024–25 season, after Ethan Nwaneri. Despite having made his debut against Leeds United this season at 15 years and 235 days old, Max Dowman is currently in the position at 15 years and 271 days old.
