Syracuse transfer Tyler Betsey has decided to attend BYU, according to a message he posted on social media on Monday.

Betsey, a 6-foot-8 stretch forward, averaged 6. 7 points and 2. In 31 games last season, he had eight rebounds while shooting a team-high 40. 7% from 3-point range.
Betsey made 44% of his triples in ACC play, placing him fourth among all league players.
Before transferring to Syracuse, the former four-star, top-50 high school prospect spent a year at Cincinnati, giving him some familiarity with the Big 12.
Betsey’s combination of height and shooting ability will be a welcome addition to BYU’s rotation, as the Cougars seek to improve their perimeter attack on offense next season.
