The Lions’ top offensive player, aside from Jared Goff, left the field for the final play of the first half and entered the locker room early but returned at the start of the second half.
With two seconds remaining in the half, right tackle Penei Sewell headed to the locker room while the Lions kneeled after a 49ers missed field goal.
It’s uncertain if Sewell sustained a minor injury or just needed to step away briefly.
Detroit experienced minor injury concerns but emerged largely unscathed in their revenge win over the 49ers.
The Lions have nearly 20 players on injured reserve, including key starters like Aidan Hutchinson, Alim McNeill, and Carlton Davis III. However, players such as Ifeatu Melifonwu and Jalen Reeves-Maybin are returning, with Alex Anzalone nearing recovery.
