Following the Lions’ tough loss on Saturday, the timeline for Johnson’s hiring has accelerated, and he is expected to finalize his schedule for upcoming in-person meetings, as per The Athletic’s “Scoop City” newsletter released Monday.
The newsletter also mentioned that three teams—the Raiders, Bears, and Jaguars—have expressed significant interest in Johnson. However, it remains uncertain whether he will meet with all of them, as he continues to evaluate his next steps. The Raiders, now led by Tom Brady, are reportedly making a strong push to secure him as their head coach.
