The FSU Seminoles have chosen yet another objective in the 2029 recruiting class. Due to his social, Florida State has made a scholarship offer to safety prospect Andre Scott from Port Charlotte, Florida.
I’m fortunate to have gotten my seventh division one offer from Florida State University AGTG after a wonderful talk with @evancooper2, Scott said.
Last September, the University of South Florida Bulls were the first university to make him an offer. His recruitment has skyrocketed in 2026, with the Louisville Cardinals, Liberty Flames, North Carolina Tar Heels, Auburn Tigers, and Florida Gators following suit.
Scott had a really successful freshman year at Port Charlotte High School. He would have one blocked field goal, one fumble recovery, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, three interceptions, and one tackle for loss, for a total of 63 tackles.
In 2025, Scott was twice selected as Player of the Week. He also received an invitation to participate in the UA Next event in Orlando, Florida, in February.
